Description
The noble distillates from Ziegler have been around for 150 years. For the whiskies, barley is malted by a very old private brewery from the region and then the mash is produced according to the specifications of the Ziegler distillery. The maturation of the Aureum Chestnut Cast Single Malt Whisky takes place in chestnut casks and in ex-Bourbon casks. The mild taste of this special whisky is especially characterized by the storage in the extremely rare chestnut casks.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: sweetish, cut grass, chestnuts, lemons, pears, flowers. Taste: Full-bodied, spicy, creamy sweetness, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting, elegant and smooth with hints of lemon and honey.
