Yamazakura blended whisky is produced by Sasanokawa distillery, in the city of Koriyama. Yamazakura is derived from the Japanese words mountain and cherry blossom. These things are also reflected on the label of the bottle. Grain and malt whiskies are used for the production. Maturation takes place in ex-bourbon barrels. Tasting notes:Color: amber. Nose: pears, vanilla, smoke, malt. Taste: Soft, mild, fruity, vanilla, chocolate, spices. Finish: Long lasting, fruity.
