The whiskies from Writer's Tears come from an Irish proverb that says that when writers or artists from Ireland cry, tears of whisky flow from them. In order to honour these writers and artists and not to forget them, this type of whisky is bottled. The fact that this whisky matures in two different types of wood has also been established in the name of the Writer Tears Double Oak Irish Whisky.
