The Writer's Tears Copper Pot is a unique combination of single malt and single pot still whiskeys. The distillation is 60% Pot Still and 40% Malt (Grain is not used). Writer's Tears is triple distilled according to Irish tradition and matures in Bourbon oak casks. All in all a Writers Tears is a great marriage of spicy Irish Pure Pot Still Whiskey with flowery Irish Single Malt.Tasting notes:Colour: Mahogany with gold accents. Nose: Notes of apples, hints of vanilla, honey, pot still aromas. Taste: Slightly spicy, ginger, butterscotch, notes of toasted oak. Finish: Long lasting, notes of milk chocolate, almonds.
