The Derby Edition of the Woodford Reserve Distillers Edition was dedicated to the Derby in Louisville. Since 1875, the annual Kentucky Derby has been held in Louisville. The Woodford Reserve Distiller's Select is a classically smooth bourbon with subtle character. Distillation takes place in traditional copper pot stills. Then the whiskey matures for six to eight years in new, American white oak barrels. This is a limited bottling! Tasting notes:Colour: Strong amber. Nose: Floral, rich cereals, strong wood, intense spices. Taste: Soft, round, gentle, complex notes of mint, fruit, toffee, spices. Finish: Long lasting.
