Description
The Wolfburn distillery is located in the north of Scotland, in the port town of Thurso. After the foundation in 1821, the production stopped in 1850 and after a reconstruction in 2011, they started again with the distillation of whiskies in 2013. The water used for the production of the whiskies comes from the small brook Wolf Burn. The Wolfburn VIBRANT STILLS Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in First Fill Bourbon Barrels, which receive a final maturation in Port Hogsheads. Bottled: 2014 Limited to 1,206 bottles! Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Sweet, fruity, notes of vanilla, herbs. Taste: Creamy, spicy, yogurt, notes of allspice, sage. Finish: Long lasting.
