The Wolfburn Distillery is located in the town of Thurso, probably named after the Nordic god of thunder 'Thor'. The Wolfburn N°155 is aged for four years in First Fill Bourbon barrels, then receives a finish for six months in Hogsheads, which were previously covered with port wine.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Rich, soft heather, notes of warm port wine aromas. Taste: Wine aromas, bourbon, caramel, vanilla, hints of ginger, oak. Finish: Long lasting, port wine, caramel, dried fruit.
