Langskip' is the Scottish Gaelic word for 'longship'. Longships are long rowing boats used by Vikings for warlike but also other purposes. The Wolfburn Distillery is located in the town of Thurso, this name is probably derived from the Norse god of thunder 'Thor'. The Wolfburn Langskip is aged for five years in former bourbon casks. The bottling is done at cask strength, without additional colorants and without cold filtration.
