This gin is completely different: juniper brandy is made from potatoes. Today, the potatoes, which are processed into chips, are grown on volcanic soil. These contain starch, which is converted into sugar and from this is then used to produce alcohol, which is used for distillation. Botanicals like cinnamon, coriander, lavender, ginger, lemon peel, pepper, liquorice and juniper berries are used.
Nose: Elegant, soft, spicy, citrus, juniper, hints of wood.
Taste: Harmonious, complex, round, juniper berries, wood, notes of citrus fruits.
