After the great success of Nectar Grove 46% Vol. Wemyss Malts launches the cask strength version of Highland Malt Whisky. The maturation takes place in refill oak casks, the finish in ex-Madeira casks completes the complex and sweet character. The whisky was not cold filtered, without additional colouring and bottled in cask strength. Bottled: 2019 Limited to 8,100 bottles worldwide! Awards: - Gold at the International Spirits Challenge in 2020Tasting notes:Colour: Bright copper with rose reflections. Nose: Dried stone fruits like nectarines, apricots, roasted hazelnuts, almonds, hints of floral aromas, freshly baked baklava. Taste: Orange, caramel, vanilla ice cream, notes of crème brûlée, cooked peaches, bananas, nectarines. Finish: Long lasting, complex, slightly spicy, notes of ginger, cinnamon and saffron.
