The first fillings of the Irish Waterford Distillery were completely sold out within a very short time. Following this success, the distillery launched the Single Farm Origin Whiskies, which are particularly convincing due to their origin. The distillery was founded by Mark Reynier in 2014. The focus is on barley and the cooperation with regional farmers and businesses. The barley for the Bannow Island Edition 1.2 is grown south of County Wexford. This region creates exceptional and sandy soil due to the unique and salty Atlantic winds.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: malty aromas, ripe fruit, raisins, citrus, vanilla. Taste: Fruity notes, malt, spices, caramel, vanilla, citrus. Finish: Long lasting.
