It then matured in American oak barrels. About 20% of Virgin Gorda British Caribbean Rum consists of a rum that has matured for about 8 years.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber with golden accents. Nose: Intense, toffee, notes of vanilla and wood. Taste: Full-bodied, sweet, vanilla, notes of toast. Finish: Long lasting, creamy, warm, notes of toffee.
