The winery Villa Sandi is known for its very high quality Prosecco. The vineyards for its cultivation are located in the province of Treviso, in the municipalities of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. One of the best known individual sites is Cartizze. The winery has specialized in Glera grapes. The family business has been run very successfully for generations. The villa with a two-kilometre-long wine cellar was built as early as 1622 and attracts numerous visitors every year. Villa Sandi ORIS Grappa Invecchiata is obtained from steam distillation of a mixture of marc from the best Venetian grapes. The long natural maturation period in selected oak barrels gives this wonderful and very old grappa a delicate aroma.Tasting notes:Colour: Rich gold. Nose: Delicate, notes of grapes, ripe red fruit, jam, spices, cinnamon, tobacco, chocolate. Taste: Harmonious, soft, rounded, fruity, pleasant tannins. Finish: Long lasting, hints of soft oak.
