Description
The Chugoku Jozo distillery is located not far from Hiroshima. Since 1918, liqueurs, sake and shochu (the traditional brandy of Japan) have been produced there. In 1990 Chugoku Jozo decided to produce whisky for the first time. The Master Blender selects the blends of malt and grain used with extreme care. This Togouchi is a blended whisky which matures for 15 years in oak casks.Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: elegant, yellow fruit, sweet spices, citrus fruits. Taste: Sweet, vanilla, notes of peat. Finish: Long lasting, dry, notes of dark chocolate, hazelnuts.
