The Tobermory whisky distillery is located in the town of Tobermory on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. The company was founded in 1798 and is therefore one of the oldest, still active distilleries in Scotland. In 2017, the distillery was closed for 2 years, since one undertook redevelopment measures. This Tobermory matures for 23 years in Oloroso Sherry casks. Tasting notes:Colour: Light amber. Nose: Fruity, vanilla, ripe oranges, notes of roasted barley, cocoa. Taste: Fruity, spicy, salted toffee, notes of vanilla, oak, candied citrus, floral honey. Finish: Long lasting, caramelized walnuts.
