The Three Ships Whisky is produced at the James Sedgwick Distillery in Wellington, South Africa. The distillery produces beside the Three Ships Whisky also the Bain's Cape Mountain Whisky. The 12 year old whisky is the first release of the Master Distiller's Private Collection. It is made from malted barley and then distilled in pot stills. The storage takes place and new and slightly more mature oak barrels from America. Awards: - Sustainable Distillery of the Year 2020 - Icons of Whisky. - Best International Whisky Distillery of the Year 2015 - New York Spirits Competition Distillery: 2007 Tasting notes:Colour: Amber. Nose: Soft, floral, of shortbread, dried fruits, soft leather, cherries, roasted nuts. Taste: Smoky, peat, pepper, dried peaches, citrus flavors, pine forest. Finish: Long lasting, creamy and warm. Best enjoyed neat or on ice!
