The Whistler' is a range of products from the Boann Distillery in Drogheda, Ireland. A whisky of a remarkable craft as old as the written word, the whistled tune and history itself. The Core Range was launched on a fabled New Year's Eve and features notes of family tradition and history. Triple distillation for added smoothness, as well as a premium single grain whiskey aged in two types of barrels, makes this bottling so special. It is first aged in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in exquisite Sicilian Marsala casks. Perfectly balanced with fruity aromas on the nose, which are equally present on the palate. Blend: 95% corn, 5% malted barley Tasting notes:Color: amber. Nose: Citrus bomb, dried citrus peel, juicy oranges, limes, hints of vanilla, chocolate, oak aromas. Taste: Warm toffee, hazelnuts, dry citrus flavors, cooked apricots. Finish: Long lasting, citrus zest, wood flavors, honey.
