Triple distillation for added smoothness and a blend of the best Irish malt and grain whiskeys aged in two types of casks make this bottling so special. Disgorged casks that previously held The Whistler 7 Years Old lend wonderful rich flavors to Boyne Brewhouse's Imperial Stouts. These flavors, on the other hand, are also released from the Imperial Stouts to the cask wood and used in this Irish Whisky. A 4-year maturation in bourbon barrels, as well as the subsequent 6-month finish in the former Imperial Stout barrels, give this whiskey deep notes of roasted coffee and cocoa nibs.
