Macallan is now launching Edition No. 5 at the end of 2019. The Single Malt was produced in cooperation with the Pantone Color Institute, a company from New Jersey. This Limited Edition draws attention to the natural colouring of the whiskies. All Macallan Whiskies are bottled without any additional colouring. They are stored exclusively in American oak casks. Macallan's Master Distiller carefully selects the suitable casks by hand.Tasting notes:Colour: Rich dark gold. Nose: Toffee, vanilla, oak, basil, pears, nutmeg, ginger. Taste: Fresh, fruity, sweet, caramel, ripe pears, toffee, oak wood, nutmeg, some ginger. Finish: Long lasting, sweetish.
