Whisky maker Polly Logan has chosen the optimum strength for this edition to reveal the whisky's dominant sweetness and balanced flavours. The 2020 edition uses a combination of sherry-matured European oak and ex-bourbon American oak casks. Tasting notes:Colour: straw gold. Nose: Vanilla, candied orange peel, honey, sweet sultanas, raisins, fresh oak, thyme. Taste: Warm ginger, sweet oranges, vanilla, honey, fresh lively oak. Finish: Long lasting, sweet, spicy, fresh thyme. It is best to let this whisky breathe for 10-15 minutes to truly enjoy its intense flavours of orange, sweet ginger and vanilla.
