In 1897 the Towiemore Distillery was built in Botriphnie, Scotland. It was supported and financed by the renowned whisky entrepreneur Peter Dawson. The distillery was in operation for 30 years until a fire shut down the Towiemore Distillery.Tasting notes:Colour: gold. Nose: Fresh, fruity, sweet, mustard seed, vanilla. Taste: Fruity, strong, oily, spicy, ginger, pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon. Finish: Long lasting.
