The Glenlivet distillery is the first licensed whiskey distillery in Scotland. Founded in 1824, the company is now the largest malt distillery in Scotland, producing around 12 million liters of whiskey a year. The Glenlivet Triple Cask series comes with a revised name and new packaging on the market. The Glenlivet WHITE OAK RESERVE Triple Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky owes its special taste to its maturation in 3 different casks. This Glenlivet matures in traditional oak casks, then in an American white oak cask and finally in ex-sherry casks. Due to the different merging of the barrels, an exceptional and unique taste is pre-programmed for each of the three whiskies. Tasting notes:Color: Light amber. Nose: Creamy caramel, fruit aromas. Taste: Velvety, honey, pears. Finish: Long lasting, complex, balanced.
