The Glenlivet distillery is the first licensed whiskey distillery in Scotland. Founded in 1824, the company is now the largest malt distillery in Scotland, producing around 12 million liters of whiskey a year. The Glenlivet Triple Cask series comes with a revised name and new packaging on the travel market. The incomparable taste of Glenlivet RARE CASK Triple Cask Matured Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from the maturation in 3 different casks. This Glenlivet matures in traditional oak casks, in an American white oak cask and finally in ex-sherry casks. Maturation in ex-sherry casks gives the whiskey a very special note. The Batch No. shown in the picture may have deviations. Tasting notes:Color: amber. Nose: peach, ginger. Taste: Fruity, orange marmalade, vanilla, licorice. Finish: Long lasting, spicy.
