Already in 1996 juniper berries were distilled for the first time in the Steinhauser distillery, meanwhile the distillation of these already has a long tradition. The SeeGin RED is a Réserve Gin, which combines the character of the SeeGin Blue with flavors of a former Grand Marnierfass. Through the maturation in these wooden barrels, the SeeGin Blue also gets its golden yellow colour. Nose: Slightly sweet-bitter, spicy, sweet citrus aromas, blood oranges, clementines, hints of red pepper. Taste: Soft, round, fruity, notes of candied orange peel, dried pink grapefruit, hints of cherries, spices. Finish: Long lasting, notes of cherry flavors, slightly peppery-warming spicy notes.
