Andrew and Brian Symington founded the independent bottler, Signatory Vintage, in 1988. In 2002, Signatory Vintage was enlarged with the acquisition of the Edradour distillery. This whisky is part of Signatory Vintage's Cask Strength Collection and is aged for 11 years in refill hogsheads and receives its finish in Fresh Sherry Butt for 18 months. The Cask Strength Collection is neither colored nor chill-filtered. Distilled: October 12, 2010 Bottled: July 21, 2022 Cask No.: 108 Limited to 663 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Color: Rich straw gold. Nose: shells, brown sugar, apricot. Taste: Spicy notes, salt and pepper, butter, caramel, green apple. Finish: Long lasting, spent matches.
