Andrew and Brian Symington founded the independent bottler, Signatory Vintage, in 1988. In 2002, Signatory Vintage was enlarged by the acquisition of the Edradour distillery. The Very Cloudy series of Signatory Un-Chillfiltered range includes naturally cloudy whiskies, because despite low alcohol content of 40% vol. the single malts are not chill-filtered and thus retain their full flavor and are an eye-catcher at the same time. This heavily peated Very Cloudy bottling matures for 7 years in Dechar/Rechar hogsheads and is of course not chill-filtered and is bottled without dye. Distilled: 10/28/2014 Bottled: August 2022 Barrel no.: 10771, 10774, 10780, 10783 Limited to 1,008 bottles worldwide. Tasting notes:Color: Slightly cloudy golden yellow. Nose: Smoky,peat, vanilla, caramel, honey, salt, citrus. Taste: Intense, fresh, peaty, smoke with light sweetness, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting, dry, smoky, spicy.
