The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roero area in the municipality of Piobesì d'Alba, a few kilometers from Alba. The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No 1 of the UTF. An Extra Old Blend of marc from the grapes Barolo, Barbaresco, Nebbiolo and Barbera, which are selected by Sibona during the harvest, are used. Distillation takes place entirely in-house in copper stills, while ageing takes place for a long period in stainless steel vats. A maturation of over 6 years in tonneaux of French oak completes this grappa.
