The Seewinkel, with its Pannonian climate, endless plains and numerous lakes, is one of the most outstanding wine-growing areas in the world, with 2000 hours of sunshine a year. Tasting notes:Dark ruby red with black core and violet reflections. In the nose pleasant, fruity, spicy with notes of plums, cordial cherries, dates, olives, whale fruit and tea leaves. Very fruity on the palate, of sour cherry roast, orange confit, olives, black tea, gingerbread and licorice and a fresh minerality. Very soft, elegant with gentle tannins. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: Zweigelt, Merlot, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon. Soil: loam, gravel, brown earth. Aging: steel tank, small part in oak barrels. Bottling: August 2021. Acidity: 5,1 g/l. Residual sugar: 2,0 g/l. Drinking temperature: 16-18 °C. This wine is excellent with poultry and lamb.
