The Rum Company TONKA TONKA is produced in close collaboration with the spice miller Ingo Holland from the "Old Spice Office". Together with the use of selected tonka beans, this rum-based spirit is developed. Tonka originally comes from the Carib language, the indigenous people in the Caribbean region. Until the 1940s, the tonka bean was even considered official currency by the inhabitants of Venezuela. The bean grows on tonka bean trees, which can grow up to 30 meters high and have a trunk diameter of up to one meter. This tree grows in northern South America, mainly in Brazil, but also on Trinidad and in tropical Africa. There, the tonka bean is also used as a remedy. Tasting notes:Color: Light amber.
