Ian Macleod Distillers acquired the abandoned distillery site in 2017 and breathed new life into the buildings. With this first release a new chapter of Rosebank Whisky is started. The Rosebank 30 Years Old Release I is triple distilled and matures for 30 years in oak casks. Distilled: 1990 Bottled: 2020 Limited to 4,350 bottles By the way, according to Rosebank, the first 200 people to scan the QR code on the back label of the bottle will have the opportunity to enjoy Rosebank RELEASE II (at the nearest high-end luxury bar). Tasting notes:Colour: Light straw gold. Nose: Soft, creamy, notes of caramel wafers, vanilla, nutmeg. Taste: Delicate, balanced, soft syrup, pears, oak spices. Finish: Long lasting, violets, oranges, hints of mint.
