Malteco rum is produced since 1993 in the distillery Licorea Quezalteca in Guatemala. Malteco Ron 25 Años Reserva Rara is distilled from molasses and aged for 25 years in rock caves located at 2,300 meters above sea level. This exceptional storage with special climate and low oxygen content gives this blend its stunning aroma. Tasting notes:Color: Dark amber. Nose: vanilla, caramel, notes of orange zest, chocolate, oak. Taste: Soft, sweet, notes of vanilla, tobacco, nuts, spices, dried fruit. Finish: Long lasting, slightly sweet.
