Malteco Rum is produced since 1993 in the distillery Licorea Quezalteca in Guatemala. Exquisite Virgin Cane Honey sugar cane is used for the production of the rums. This Malteco Reserva del Fundador matures at least 20 years in oak barrels. The mountains of Panama were chosen as the storage location. Tasting notes:Color: Dark amber. Nose: Sweet, chocolate. Taste: Soft, full-bodied, sweet, vanilla, prunes. Finish: Long lasting.
