Malteco Rum is produced since 1993 in the distillery Licorea Quezalteca in Guatemala. Exquisite Virgin Cane Honey sugar cane is used for the production of the rums. The Malteco Ron 15 Años Reserva Maya matures at least 15 years in oak barrels and points with the addition 'Reserva Maya' to its cultural-historical roots of Guatemala and the Mayan people. Tasting notes:Color: amber. Nose: Notes of sweet fruity aromas. Taste: Strong, sweet, complex, notes of coconut, plum, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, toffee. Finish: Long lasting, sweet, sweetish.
