Malteco Rum is produced since 1993 in the distillery Licorea Quezalteca in Guatemala. Exquisite Virgin Cane Honey sugar cane is used for the production of the rums. The Malteco Ron 11 Años matures for at least 11 years in an oak barrel in Panama. Tasting notes:Color: Dark gold. Nose: Pleasantly fruity, sweet. Taste: Fruity and sweet, slightly smoky, honey, vanilla, dried apricots, jam, truffle, plum, coffee. Finish: Long lasting, salty caramel, peppery spices. Enjoy the rum pure with various dried fruits and dark chocolate.
