Malteco Rum is produced since 1993 in the distillery Licorea Quezalteca in Guatemala. Exquisite Virgin Cane Honey sugar cane is used for the production of the rums. The Malteco Ron Añejo matures for at least 10 years in oak barrels. Tasting notes:Color: Dark gold. Nose: Soft and persistent, pleasant sweetness, aromas of chocolate and some vanilla. Taste: Soft, vanilla. Finish: Long lasting.
