The Gravensteiner is considered a juicy, noble and highly aromatic dessert apple of the highest quality. However, due to its low yield and limited storability, it is unfortunately rarely cultivated today. In the southwestern regions of Styria this apple finds the best climatic conditions for it. The alternation between warm summer days and somewhat cooler nights is ideal for the development of the delicate fruit aromas. Every apple stays on the tree until it is fully ripe. To guarantee this, we carefully hand-pick the orchard in several passes according to strict criteria. The processing into mash takes place fresh on site on each harvest day. After distilling and ripening, this apple shows its best side: a beautifully ripened, powerful schnapps full of fine fruity, delicate apple aromas. Tasting notes:Color: Clear.
