Description
The Poli distillery was founded in 1898 by GioBatto Poli. Today, it is managed by the four siblings Jacopo, Geampaolo, Barbara and Andrea Poli. It is located in the north-eastern Italian municipality of Schiavon, in the province of Veneto. Poli Grappa La Première is made from grape marc from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. After distillation, it is stored in barriques until April 2016. Distilled: October 2007 Tasting notes:Colour: Amber with golden accents. Nose: Ripe red fruits, honey, marzipan, chamomile, licorice, vanilla. Taste: Complex, fruity. Finish: Long lasting. A drinking temperature of 18-20°C is recommended.
