The Penfolds wine estate is one of the oldest wine estates in Australia. It is located in the south of Australia and comprises the growing areas Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale. The Penfolds MAX'S is a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet grapes. Tasting notes:Dark red in the glass. In the nose and at the palate very fine, complex with fruity flavours of dark berries, spices, tobacco and herbs. Long lasting, with velvety tannins in the finish. Grape variety: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation: In 300 l oak barrels, 90% used and 10% new. Storage potential: 5-7 years. Drinking temperature: 16-18°C. The wine harmonizes with meat and poultry.
