It is located in the south of Australia and comprises the growing areas Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale. The Penfolds Koonunga Hill is a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet grapes. The red wine is known for its longevity and very appreciated among collectors. Tasting notes:Black red in the glass. In the nose a fragrance of exotic fruits, spices, dates and rose water. At the palate after red fruits like mulberries and red cherries. A nice interplay of acidity and tannins. Long lasting in the finish. Grape variety: Shiraz, Cabernet. Drinking temperature: 15-17°C.
