In 1973 the Nonino family produced the first Grappa Monovitigno from marc of Picolit grapes. Marc is obtained by distilling the solid components of a grape. The family celebrated great success with the brandy and soon other distillers worldwide became aware of the new product. Grappa is not only the oldest eau-de-vie in Northern Italy but also the most traditional. The grappas of the Nonino family reflect the history and long tradition of the company. Nonino Grappa Monovitigno Vendemmia is made from the marcs of Pinot and Malvasia grapes. It is distilled in a copper still.Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Nose: Elegant and soft. Taste: Apricots, green apples, raisins. Finish: Long lasting. Enjoy the grappa at about 12°C in a tulip-shaped glass.
