The MASI winery was founded in 1772 by the Boscaini family. Previously, the family business was called "Vaio dei Masi", like the place where it was located. Today the company is run by the seventh generation of the Boscaini family. Even after 200 years of successful history in this business, the winery is still one of the best in the world. Tasting notes:Dark red with violet-blue nuances in the glass. In the nose strong and versatile after plums and cherries. At the palate pleasantly sweet after coffee and cocoa. Long lasting in the finish. Grape varieties: Corvina, Rondinella Molinara. Soil: clay. Acidity: 5,9 g/l. Residual sugar: 9,2 g/l. Drinking temperature: 18-20°C. Storage potential: 35 years. Closure: Natural cork. The wine harmonizes very well with dark meat, game and cheese.
