The distillery was opened in 1985, but it had to be closed again in 1992. In 2011, light came back into the darkness and the distillery could produce whiskey again. Through the revival of the Shinshu distillery can be regularly brought new releases, such as this limited edition, on the market. This whiskey matures for 4 years in first-fill bourbon casks. It is a limited bottling of 179 bottles. Distilled: 2017 Bottled: 2022 Cask No.: 3618 Tasting notes:Color: Light gold. Nose: Fruity, tropical, notes of quince, banana, chestnut.
