At that time Carl Mampe was a medical councillor and created a stomach bitter which was supposed to help people in those days with the so-called cholera, an intestinal disease. From that time on Mampe's bitters were available in pharmacies and the brand was continuously expanded.Tasting notes:Color: Clear. Nose: Slightly spicy, mild. Taste: Dry, mild notes, spices. Finish: Long lasting.
