This gin is produced by the Vergnano family in Moncalieri, Italy. What makes it special is the use of lemon peel. The Malfy Gin Originale is made from eight botanicals and water from the Mon Viso springs. The wheel in the middle of the label is reminiscent of the famous annual rowing race of the four ancient kingdoms. Sicilian blood orange peels form the basis for this Italian gin. These are macerated with juniper in distilled alcohol for 6 hours; a further 4 botanicals are added and there is another distillation in a vacuum still.Tasting notes:Colour: Blood orange red.
