Maker's Mark "46" matures, in contrast to the normal Maker's Mark, for several months in French oak barrels. The degree of toasting for the barrels was determined by a series of tests and gave the best result with test 46, hence the name. Awards: - Silver medal in 2018 at the International Spirits ChallengeTasting notes:Colour: dark amber. Nose: sweet, toffee, sawdust, sweet spices, caramel. Taste: Creamy, soft, spicy, nutmeg, mulled wine, pimento, cinnamon, apple juice. Finish: Long lasting.
