The Mackmyra Brukswhisky DLX II belongs to the Moment series of Mackmyra. This whisky is to commemorate the first distillery in Mackmyra Bruk. The youngest barrels used for the Moment Brukswhisky are stored for 9 years, while the oldest barrels are stored for 11 years. Since the distillation, the Mackmyra Brukswhisky matures exclusively in the Bodås mine. It is a limited edition with 1,999 bottles. Tasting notes:Colour: Golden yellow. Nose: Fruity, peaty, smoky, soft, notes of oak barrels, honey, vanilla, toasted bread, raisins, pears, citrus. Taste: Gently smoky, fruity, oily, notes of peat, juniper, light vanilla caramel, ripe pears, citrus, toasted oak barrels, pears, raisins. Finish: Long lasting, peat, juniper, oak notes, tobacco leaves.
