Mackmyra has different locations around the world. The Whisky Village, the heart and home of the distillery in Gävle, as well as storage facilities in Sweden, Germany and on the Seine in Paris. Mackmyra Destination matures 33% in ex-port wine casks, 33% in American oak casks, 25% in ex-bourbon casks and 9% in oloroso-saturated American oak casks. This is a limited bottling of 10,000 bottles. Tasting notes:Color: Bright amber. Nose: pear, raisins, almond paste. Taste: Rich, fruity, notes of vanilla, caramel, almond paste, raisins, heart cherry, blackberry. Finish: Long lasting, hazelnut, berry.
