Luce della Vite wines are produced in Montalcino, Tuscany. The idea of making wine under the sign of light, sun, warmth and energy came from Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi. Montalcino offers the best conditions for wine growing. The wide hills are warmed by the sun every day and the people, in harmony with nature, give their best day after day to make the wines of Luce della Vite special. The symbol of the radiant sun not only adorns the individual bottles of the winery, but also reflects the history of Montalcino. Tasting notes:Noble deep red color with black core in the glass. The nose is a firework of notes of various berries such as blackcurrants and blackberries. Spices such as gingerbread and cinnamon are also present. On the palate juicy, round, flattering with a dense tannic structure. Long lasting on the finish. Grape varieties: 75% Merlot, 25% Sangiovese. Aging: 12 months in barriques, 55% new French oak barrels, 5% new American oak barrels, 40% secondary French oak barrels. Acidity: 5,78 g/l. Residual sugar: 3.35 g/l. Drinking temperature: 18-20 °C. Best decanted for 1-2 hours.
