Laphroaig is a whisky distillery on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay and is owned by the Japanese-American Beam Suntory Group. The distillery's buildings are classified in the Scottish Heritage lists. In the production of Laphroaig, barley malt is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, found only on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavor.

This unique 25-year-old Laphroaig is a marriage of bourbon casks, which are carefully stored at the Laphroaig Distillery.
The bottling is done without chill filtration as well as at cask strength to preserve the full range of flavors of this exquisite whiskey. The maturation of the single malt takes place in bourbon casks.

Color: gold.
Nose: notes of sweet vanilla, Islay peat.
