The Kracher winery is located in Burgenland, in the Seewinkel region. The family business, which is under the management of Gerhard Kracher, specializes in sweet wines such as Beerenauslesen, Trockenbeerenauslesen and ice wines. In the vineyards Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel and also Zweigelt grapes are cultivated. Due to the excellent climate and soil conditions, the harvest is always first class. Awards: - 93/100 points from Falstaff - 93/100 points A la Carte - 17/20 points from Gault & Milau Tasting notes:Bright yellow in the glass with silver reflections. In the nose after white peaches and honeydew melons. At the palate after different stone fruits like tangerines, citrus fruits and ripe and yellow peaches. Long lasting in the finish with an elegant and pleasant acid structure. Grape varieties: 60% Welschriesling, 40% Chardonnay. Vinification: 85% in steel tanks and 15% in large wooden barrels, aged for 12 months. Acidity: 7,3 g/l. Residual sugar: 145,7 g/l. Drinking temperature: 10-12°C. The Beerenauslese is a very good companion of desserts, spicy curry and cheese.
